NOW - with all of that said - PLEASE SEE the last 2 pictures in the top left eBay pictures area showing the other eBay 3/4" ferrule sellers ( freakishly thin / cheap / low quality ) ferrules COMPARED TO my new Eaton ( THICKER walled / robust / high quality ) ferrules - which obviously from a simple physics perspective will hold more pressure - last longer - are much less prone to failure and hydraulic or other fluid bursting out all over a warehouse floor etc . . and the mess - cleanup and down time as well.
I simply bought one of the ( almost $ 10 ) ferrules from an eBay seller - and took pictures to compare and share with the viewers of this listing - to show the GLARING difference in thickness - strength - quality of the 2
Not kidding - see pictures - the competition is selling what looks to be simple brass ferrules with side walls about as thin as a piece of standard office paper - or maybe 2 pieces stacked - tops.
Whereas my NEW Eaton ferrules are a TEMPERED ALLOY with side walls about the thickness of 3 pennies stacked.
And it quite literally isn't even close as to quality / strength - longevity - safety.
And a couple of the low quality brass thin ferrule sellers are amazingly - asking almost $ 10 for ONE of them shipped.
SO - you can buy a thick - NEW - EATON tempered alloy ferrule of high quality WITH internal thick ribbing to GRAB the hose - or buy an incredibly low quality brass one with no internal ribbing ( so nothing "grabbing the hose - and for almost the same pricing ) and then have a failure and a fluid blowout on the warehouse floor - a mess to clean up - and a repair lag time and cost.

- and have good success in the past at keeping larger item delivery costs down to a minimum via competitive bidding on Uship.com. I have also shipped thousands of item over the years - and have global logistics experience via Truck - Barge - Train. I can - and will - help in this regard if you are buying a large item and need to ship it globally - or even simply in the 48 contiguous United States via Truck. Large items purchased and requested and/or agreed to be shipped via a Uship Contractor / Driver MUST have written confirmation from the buyer to the seller immediately upon item receipt that shipment was received.
IF an item is over 70# - AND/OR is of a very large size to trigger USPS cost prohibitive "oversize" fees - and you desire freight shipment - the buyer agrees to a MINIMUM 7 day Uship.com "listing period" in order to solicit a group of bids large enough to garner the lowest shipping price possible - and further agrees to cooperate in the shipping process by providing address - residential or business - business hours - phone number and details of delivery location - dock available - lift gate needed - forklift on site information etc . . . Buyer ALSO agrees to up to a 14 day "handling/shipping time" if item is being shipped via Freight / LTL Common Carrier - due to the Uship.com bid process - obtaining proper materials and palletizing item(s) for freight - as well as having items picked up at original location requiring "lift gate capable" trucks only etc . . . Shipping items via Freight LTL CAN be incredibly frustrating - time consuming - and delay ridden causing actual shipment of items to be delayed considerably. Freight Damage Claims
:    It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the item - and to file a claim / ( and / or ) refuse delivery - with USPS - UPS - or other carrier - if it shows up off the delivery truck with obvious package damage.  Inspect the package to see if  there is any damage to the item. Report to the shipper and to the seller immediately. It is also the Buyers responsibility to cooperate in filing / obtaining a "damaged in freight" item reimbursement claim.

: Items sent via USPS ( and/or ) UPS can be tracked and info should be provided automatically through the shipping software packages / platforms. If not then it can be requested - and if available - will be provided.

It is then up to you to judge your risk of proper item operation - and ( bid / buy / offer ) accordingly.
